Supporting Environmental Nonprofits in NC
And so, as EarthShare NC enters our fourth decade, we ask you to join Gen Z’s call to action to be inclusive, equitable, and to address the most pressing and urgent environmental issues of our day by supporting environmental nonprofits in NC. EarthShare NC nonprofits and corporate partners are primarily located in the two most urban areas of our state; leaving many of North Carolina’s communities underserved and facing the most direct impacts from environmental challenges. Accordingly, we seek to implement a plan for expansion that strengthens the nonprofit community that serves these needs. We connect more than 1000 people each year with environmental nonprofits, programs, and tools that educate and empower people to make a difference. Therefore, our call to action is that we must – and can – reach thousands more.
