Collective is the nonprofit growth engine.
Someone signs your clipboard at the food drive and you never hear from them again. On Collective they follow your Space, hear about your next event, and give when you ask. People nearby who care about the same cause find you too.

Five example Spaces, from made-up organizations.
People feel it in the room. Then everyone goes home.
At the food drive, the town hall, the Saturday cleanup, people show up and feel the work. Keeping that going once everyone leaves is the hard part. Collective sends each story, event and campaign to the people you have met, and to people nearby who haven’t met you yet.

“A way to actually connect with our supporters, not just ask them for money.”

Reach a whole new supporter community
When you join Collective you get your own direct-to-supporter Space, and you become part of a network that brings you new supporters.
Your stories, events and fundraisers also run on the Collective homepage for your city, where people go looking for something to do and somewhere to give. Every join, gift and RSVP is yours to keep, and nobody else ever gets your list.
Your own direct-to-supporter Space
Keep your website. Your Space works beside it: your people hear from you, not from an algorithm, and every gift, sign-up and RSVP lands on your list. Set up takes about five minutes, because we import your brand from the site you already have.

College Ahead
Colors and logo from its own website. The supporter list stays with it.
Events, programs and campaigns, in one place
Events
The day, the place, the guest list, and a thread for the questions people ask before they come: who else is going, and who needs a ride.
Programs
Cohorts, classes, volunteer routes and paid memberships. You decide whether people apply, join or give monthly.
Campaigns
A fundraiser with a meter in your color, the story that earned the gift beside it, and a reminder each week to the people who have not opened it yet.
For the changemaker who just needs tech to work.

Show off the people behind your work
A CRM keeps your people in a spreadsheet. Your Space shows them: staff, board, volunteers and donors, each with a face and a role, thanked in public. None of them has to make an account.

Every gift reaches you whole
At checkout, donors add one small fee on top of their gift, and they see it before they pay. It covers card processing and keeps Collective running. Nothing comes out of the gift itself, so $50 is $50 for your work.
Pricing
Organizations with budgets under $50,000 use Collective free, with every tool.
Above that, one flat price a month, set by the size of your budget and never by the size of your list. Pay for a year and two months are free.
Our prices are suggestions. If yours isn’t possible right now, tell us and we will work it out.
Why we price this way
A Place at the Table serves breakfast and lunch on Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh, and every meal has a suggested price. Guests who can pay it do. Some leave a little more for the next person. Anyone who can’t pays what they can or volunteers an hour for their meal. At least 80% of guests pay the suggested price, which keeps a seat open for everyone else.
In March 2024, before Collective existed, Malik sent a cold Instagram DM to Maggie Kane, the cafe’s founder, and asked if he could buy her a coffee. She said yes. When he asked how the cafe grows, she didn’t talk about tactics. She talked about getting people in a room together, where they can feel the work up close.
Maggie built a place where nobody has to explain what they can afford. We want Collective to work that way too.
Hi Maggie! I hope you’re doing well! I’m based in Durham and am building a new platform which will enable people to subscribe to nonprofits. A Place at the Table looks so so cool and I’d love to pick your brain about all things fundraising and your mission!

Hey!! Would love it! Let’s do it

A place where everyone has dignity and choice. Read about the mission, and if you can, give.
DonateA price you can live with.
Tight budgets
A new software line can take a board meeting or two to approve. Tell us where you are and we’ll work out a price together.
Where your price goes
Collective is priced so you spend less than you do on the tools it replaces. Running it and supporting every organization on it still costs us real money, and subscriptions are how we keep doing it.
Discounts, grants and ambassadors
Ask us about a discount or a grant toward your price. We’re also starting an ambassador program for organizations that bring other nonprofits along. If either sounds like you, get in touch.
