ATLANTA, GA — Quest Community Development Corporation (QuestCDC) will celebrate the grand opening of Heritage Village @ West Lake with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, October 29th from 6:00-8:30PM at 239 West Lake Avenue NW, Atlanta, GA 30314.

Join us as we celebrate the preservation and revitalization of the former Waluhaje Hotel as Heritage Village @ West Lake, a vibrant affordable housing community designed to support residents through quality housing, wellness resources, and opportunities for economic growth in partnership with the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and Mercy Care.

Heritage Village @ West Lake is a 102-unit affordable housing community located in the heart of Atlanta's historic West Lake neighborhood, offering quality, affordable homes for individuals and small households. Situated near the West Lake MARTA Station and Westside Park, the development is part of QuestCDC's Westside Housing Trifecta, developed in partnership with Columbia Residential.

The ceremony arrives at a meaningful moment for QuestCDC, which is celebrating 25 Years Strong of community development work across Atlanta. Since its founding, QuestCDC has worked to expand access to affordable housing, strengthen neighborhoods, and create lasting opportunity for the communities it serves — and Heritage Village @ West Lake stands as a testament to that continued mission.

"This project represents more than new housing — it represents renewed opportunity for our Westside community," said Leonard L. Adams Jr., Founder and CEO of Quest Community Development Corporation. "As we mark 25 years of impact, Heritage Village @ West Lake is a powerful example of what's possible when partners come together around a shared vision for equitable growth."

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature remarks from a distinguished group of city and community leaders, including:

  • Leonard L. Adams Jr., Founder & CEO, Quest Community Development Corporation
  • The Honorable Andre Dickens, Mayor, City of Atlanta
  • The Honorable Byron Amos, Atlanta City Councilman, District 3
  • The Honorable Nikema Williams, U.S. Congresswoman, on behalf of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta

Additional remarks will be shared by partner leadership and other distinguished guests representing Atlanta Housing, the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, and Mercy Care. Through their partnership, the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and Mercy Care will help connect Heritage Village @ West Lake residents to wellness resources and opportunities for economic growth, furthering the development's mission to support residents well beyond move-in day.

Heritage Village @ West Lake reflects QuestCDC's long-standing commitment to preserving affordability and expanding opportunity on Atlanta's Westside, ensuring that longtime residents and new neighbors alike can thrive in a community rich with history and promise.

Members of the public, partners, and press are invited to attend and celebrate this milestone alongside QuestCDC and its partners.
