RALEIGH, NC —May 28, 2026 —Equality NC is joining Give OUT Day 2026, the nation’s only LGBTQIA+ giving event, to raise funds for statewide advocacy and community support efforts. Early Giving begins today, and runs until June 30th so our community can support Equality NC all month long during Pride Month.

Give OUT Day raised over $850,000 for queer and trans organizations in 2025. This year, Equality NC will be utilizing Give OUT Day to fundraise for our statewide advocacy efforts to defend and expand access to life-saving resources like gender-affirming care and critical HIV prevention and care services.

“Give OUT Day is a month-long fundraiser to resource our collective future. When you give to Equality NC, you are directly investing in our people—LGBTQIA+ folks, Black and Latinx communities, immigrant voters, and our youth. We aren’t just playing defense, we are securing investments that allow us to thrive on our own terms in North Carolina,” said Eliazar Posada-Orozco, Jr., Executive Director of Equality NC.
